What does the experience include?

  • A leisurely stroll through the picturesque streets of Piran: experience the city through sight, touch, sound, and smell. What does salt feel like to the touch? How does Tartini's famous composition truly sound? What is the aroma of local herbs?

  • Visit iconic cultural and historical sites: Tartini Square, the city walls, Punta, and more!
  • Special focus on accessibility: We adjust the pace, explanations, and routes to ensure everyone can enjoy the exploration.
  • Optional tasting of local products: By prior arrangement, a tasting of local oils and spreads can be organized at Taste of Piran. The cost is 10 EUR per person, with a minimum booking of four people required.

What will we see in Piran?

  • Tartini Square: We'll begin our tour at the central Tartini Square, named after the famous composer and violinist Giuseppe Tartini. Here, we'll admire his statue and take in the historic architecture surrounding the square.

  • Punta (Cape Madonna): Next, we'll visit Punta, also known as "Cape Madonna", where we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the deepest point in the Slovenian sea.
  • Promenade: We'll take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque promenade, lined with numerous seafood restaurants and bars, offering a true taste of the coastal atmosphere.
  • Mandrač: We'll conclude our tour at the "mandrač", the local harbor, where you'll learn more about Piran's rich traditions of fishing and boating.
