The Church of St. Roch in Piran, dedicated to the patron saint of the afflicted, was first mentioned in 1557.
It gained its present Baroque appearance in the 17th century, featuring a distinctive stone altar and stucco decorations.
The altar is adorned with a gilded canopy from the 19th century and statues of Mary, St. Sebastian, and St. Roch.
The church was renovated in 2002 and 2004.
