Lars Grünwoldt, baritone

Was born in 1974 in Germany. He began his studies at the Hochschule in Rostock and later at the renowned Hans Eisler High School in Berlin under S. Weir. He attended master classes with D. Fischer-Dieskau and T. Quasthoff. He won numerous competitions and scholarships (Mozarteum in Salzburg and Y. Menuhin Foundation). Alongside J. Kowalski he sings at the Berlin Opera. He collaborates with the most famous symphony orchestras among them: Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Konzerhausorchester Berlin, Prague Philharmonic, Freiburger Barockorchester and regularly performs in the most prestigious halls in Europe. Through the Berlin Radio Choir and the Opera ’Under the Linden Trees’, he created valuable collaborations with D. Barenboim, M. Janowski and Sir S. Rattle. He regularly performs in the Berlin Philharmonic Hall and Konzerthaus in Berlin.

Andrea Rucli, piano

Has won awards in numerous piano competitions and regularly performs as both soloist and chamber musician. He perfected his skills under Konstantin Bogino and later worked as his assistant. Rucli and Bogino also give concerts together as a piano duo. He has earned great respect as a musician, especially as someone who has promoted the music of the composer Ella von Schultz Adaiewsky (1846–1916). In the spring of 2011, he performed that composer’s works reconstructed by Vladimir Mendelssohn at the Italian President’s Palace as part of the acclaimed Quirinale series in Rome. It was such a success that he was invited back there. Rucli has also actively promoted Finland and Finnish culture in Italy. In recognition he was awarded membership of the Finnish Kalevala Society and received official recognition from the Finnish Embassy.
