The Friends of the St. George Foundations association from Piran is proudly hosting the Way of the Cross exhibition for the 25th consecutive year.
This year’s opening will take place at the Church of Our Lady of Health in Piran on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Renowned Slovenian artist Rudi Skočir presents fifteen stations under the evocative title Travelling on the Big Chariot, guiding viewers from Pilate’s judgment to the resurrection of Christ.
Rudi Skočir is established as a painter, illustrator (having visually designed over 60 different publications), draftsman, and graphic artist. His works are held in numerous public and private collections both at home and abroad. He is also the author of several public paintings in Idrija. He has presented his works in numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
