Gregor Ravnik is a likable Primorian specialising in
pop and opera music, who has recently established himself as one of the most versatile and promising academic solo singers in the region. His musical journey began at an early age, when he developed a deep love for music and singing. After studying at the Academy of Music, where he focused on opera singing, Gregor expanded his knowledge and talent to pop music, resulting in a unique combination of two very different musical genres.
His greatest successes include winning the Slovenian Pop Song Contest 2021 - best overall song "Še ko te ni, te imam" and winning the Melodies of the Sea and the Sun 2023 - best overall song "Tuesday". Between 2017 - 2024 he was an important member of the popular pop opera trio "Trio Vivere".
In February 2024, he released his first pop album, a turning point in his career. The album, called "Between Us", includes songs from past music festivals as well as brand new, fresh tracks. With the release of the album, which not only shows his versatility as an artist, but also brings a fresh approach to pop and opera music, Gregor is embarking on a showcase tour with an excellent band, where he will have the opportunity to present his work to a wider audience. Their performances are full of energy, emotional charge and technical perfection, further demonstrating Gregor's talent and versatility.
