Anna Tifu, winner of the 2007 George Enesco International Competition in Bucharest, is considered one of the leading violinists of her generation. She started playing the violin at the age of six, performing publicly at the age of eight. At fifteen, she graduated with honors from her hometown of Cagliari. She studied with Salvator Accardo at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona and at the Chigi Academy of Music in Siena, where she also received an honorary degree in 2004. At the age of seventeen, she was admitted to the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where she studied with Aaron Rosand, Shmuel Ashkenazi and Pamela Frank, and later graduated from the École normale de musique in Paris. She has performed with many of the world's best orchestras, chamber ensembles and conductors.

Italian conductor Marco Angius, artistic director of the Padua and Venetian Orchestra since 2015, is one of the established specialists in performing contemporary music. His success is confirmed by numerous conducting tours around the world and appearances at the most prestigious festivals. He is the founder and leader of the specialized ensemble Algoritmo for contemporary music, with which he received the amadeus award in 2007 for the recording of works by composer Ivan Fedel. He has recorded several records, including many works by Salvatore Sciarrin, about which he also published a monograph in 2019. His most recent projects include operas by Jakob Lenz W. Rihm, Lisička zvitorepka and Katja Kabanova L. Janáčka, Italija usode L. Mosce, Prometej L. None and Peleas and Melisanda C. Debussy.
